About Hubbell Racing
Hubbell Racing officially started in 2014 with the purchase of a Coyote Chassis (DP) Daytona Prototype Corvette. This car has racing history as it raced for Whelen Motor Sports in the IMSA series. I was always into some type of racing, but once we bought this car we decide to become a serious team.
We started racing in the FARA racing series, which has proven to be a very competitive and fun to participate. FARA draws a great crowd to its races and is very family orientated. Fun for all is their moto.
Additionally we race in HSR ( Historic Sports Car Racing) which lets us travel around the country to many great tracks including Canada.
Our car is prep, maintained and crewed by the people from Hudson Historics out of NY. Gordon Eggleston many years of experience with race cars, new and old. From Ford model T, Le Mans winning Austin Martin, F1 and modern day prototypes. He runs a very successful race/restoration shop and is always willing to lend a hand.
Eric Curran is the current 2016 IMSA Weather Tech Champion, he is also my driving instructor and race partner. Eric has multiple years of experience behind the wheel and started his racing career in a Volvo 240 in SCCA. I consider him a close friend and very fast driver.
Hubbell Bubbles as they are called this way at the track, what would race be without beautiful women at your side. They are always at the track signing autographs, taking photos and helping the team out. Additionally they do many special appearances for charity events and fund raisers. Many of the girls are well known models and have been on multiple covers of magazines.
Autism Soccer is something we hold dear and close to our heart. Oscar Amuz is the founder and his organization helps children and their parents with everyday struggles and how to live a better fun filled life. He brings to all the races the children’s area with bounce houses, face painting and much more, since we have been a part of Autism Soccer we have seen firsthand the love and dedication Oscar and his team have for these children. We feel blessed to be a part of this organization.
